Summer is here and our composers need a short break!
Here, for example, Sergei Rachmaninoff, recovering from his strenuous anniversary year in 2023, is on a boat tour of Lake Lucerne, together with daughters Tatiana and Irina.
Nearby, on Lake Thun, Johannes Brahms is, as usual, vacationing in Switzerland; nature lover Edvard Grieg is scrambling through the Norwegian mountains; and Antonín Dvořák is putting his feet up in his idyllic country cottage in Vysoká and watching his vegetables grow….
